I do not have a mobile phone number/Why do I need one

When you create your SecureIdentity we'll send you a text message containing a security code and a link to download the SecureIdentity Simple Sign In app in order to link your details to your phone.

If you are using a smartphone, you need to download the SecureIdentity app. The app allows you to speed up your registration by scanning your passport & taking a selfie. Once registered it also allows fast and simple access to government services so you won't need a complex password when you use your SecureIdentity.
